it started with a snapped clip
leah had thick hair and a graveyard of broken claw clips. every cute clip snapped; every strong clip was ugly. the ones from hawai'i — where the custom acetate clip scene runs years ahead of the mainland — were different: heavy, glossy, built like jewelry. that was the lightbulb.
cliptomaniacs brings that jewelry-tier standard to the mainland, made from custom bio-acetate and released in limited drops.
jewelry, not accessory
we don't do disposable. every clip is cnc-cut from plant-based acetate, tumbled, and hand-polished — a 60-day process for every run. the payoff is a clip with real weight, real flex, and a click you can hear across the room.
colorways drop, sell out, and never come back. silhouettes return; exact colors don't. that's not scarcity theater — it's how small-batch production actually works, and it's what makes your clip yours.
